Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure for federal clients.
- Ensure strict compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and agency-specific security policies.
- Perform system administration on Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and perform preventative maintenance.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Mentor junior system administrators and provide technical guidance to the IT support team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or IT support within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Industry-recognized certifications such as Security+, CCNA, or RHCE.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, virtualization technologies (VMware/VirtualBox), and disaster recovery planning.
