Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end logistics operations for the weekend shift, ensuring 100% on-time delivery of supplies.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments using federal logistics management software and tracking systems.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records for all federal assets and materials.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to resolve shipping discrepancies and logistical bottlenecks.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal safety regulations, security protocols, and documentation standards.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on packaging and labeling to prevent errors.
- Assist in training new staff members on weekend shift procedures and software tools.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: United States Citizenship is mandatory for this federal position.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts, including holidays, as required by agency needs.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 5 Background Investigation is required.
