As a Federal Night Shift Representative, you will be the first point of contact for citizens seeking assistance. You will work during the evening hours to ensure government services are accessible 24/7. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle high-volume inquiries while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Handle High-Volume Inquiries: Respond to phone calls and emails from constituents regarding federal programs, applications, and status updates.
- Data Entry & Management: Accurately input information into secure federal databases and update case files.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot basic problems and escalate complex issues to senior management or external agencies when necessary.
- Shift Coverage: Work the designated night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) to ensure seamless service during off-hours.
- Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere to all federal regulations and maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive citizen data.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen to apply for federal positions.
- High School Diploma: Minimum educational requirement; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Typing Skills: Proficiency in data entry with a typing speed of 40+ WPM.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work evening and overnight shifts.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a federal background investigation and drug screening.
