Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Systems: 24/7 surveillance and monitoring of federal facility access points and perimeter security systems to ensure facility integrity.
- Process Documentation: Accurately review and process incoming personnel clearances, visitor logs, and sensitive federal documentation.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to security alerts, alarms, and emergency situations following established federal protocols and safety guidelines.
- Compliance Enforcement: Enforce federal regulations and agency policies strictly during night shift operations to maintain a secure environment.
- Data Management: Maintain precise, up-to-date logs and digital records of all night shift activities, incidents, and status reports.
- Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with day-shift teams and supervisors to ensure seamless handovers and operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a federal background investigation (Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant experience is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends as required by federal schedules.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify discrepancies, errors, or potential security breaches with high accuracy.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office) and federal data entry systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light physical activity, and operate security equipment.
