Responsibilities
- Conduct perimeter surveillance and access control for federal facilities during overnight hours
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to security alerts with rapid intervention protocols
- Perform routine patrols and document security incidents in federal reporting systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency response situations
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security regulations (FIPS, DHS directives)
- Operate specialized security equipment including metal detectors, X-ray scanners, and communication systems
- Prepare detailed shift reports and security assessments for federal leadership review
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience or relevant military service
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security management software
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
- Successful completion of federal background investigation and polygraph screening
- Knowledge of federal emergency procedures and crisis management protocols
