Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran benefit documentation with 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with federal agencies and community partners on veteran outreach programs
- Manage electronic records systems and ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance
- Assist veterans with benefit applications and eligibility inquiries
- Prepare reports for congressional stakeholders and internal leadership
- Support special events commemorating veteran milestones
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in federal/state/local government
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VA-specific databases
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Associate degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Excellent written communication skills for federal correspondence
- Experience with veteran service organizations preferred
