Responsibilities
- Administer complex multi-employer pension plans with strict adherence to federal regulations
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits for 500+ plan sponsors annually
- Manage fiduciary responsibilities and participant dispute resolution
- Develop retirement projections and funding strategies for federal agencies
- Collaborate with DOJ and DOL enforcement teams on regulatory violations
- Train federal agency personnel on pension plan compliance protocols
- Prepare detailed actuarial reports for congressional oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field (required)
- 5+ years' experience in pension plan administration or employee benefits
- SPCE or CEBS certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS Code 401(k), and federal pension regulations
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Alight, Benefitfocus)
- Top Secret security clearance eligibility (mandatory)
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
