Responsibilities
- Administer and audit pension plans to ensure compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations
- Investigate and resolve complex pension plan violations and participant complaints
- Develop educational materials for employers and participants on retirement benefits
- Collaborate with legal teams to prosecute non-compliance cases
- Analyze financial reports to detect irregularities in pension fund operations
- Conduct on-site examinations of pension plan administration
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and recommendations for enforcement actions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 5+ years of pension plan administration or compliance experience
- ERISA and IRS regulation certification (CEBS or QKA preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of fiduciary responsibilities and pension accounting
- Experience with federal compliance audits and enforcement procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
