Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS retirement systems
- Process retirement applications, benefit calculations, and survivor claims
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (OMB, OPM, IRS) and audit requirements
- Provide expert guidance to federal employees on retirement planning and benefits
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, and legal teams to resolve complex pension issues
- Develop and deliver pension education workshops for federal employees
- Maintain accurate pension records and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal pension plans (TSP/FERS/CSRS)
- Active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in federal benefits software (e.g., HRIS, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of federal retirement regulations and procedures
