Responsibilities
- Manage daily pension fund disbursements and payment processing
- Ensure strict adherence to federal pension regulations (ERISA, TCRS)
- Conduct eligibility reviews and benefit calculations for retirees
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for OMB review
- Collaborate with HR departments on retirement plan modifications
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pension benefits
- Maintain secure digital records of all transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits experience
- Familiarity with federal retirement systems (FERS, CSRS)
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and pension management software
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations
- Ability to handle confidential financial data with discretion
- U.S. citizenship required for federal position
