Responsibilities
- Review and analyze pension plan documents for compliance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
- Conduct investigations and audits of pension plans to identify potential violations.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to plan sponsors, trustees, and participants.
- Prepare and present reports on findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other federal agencies and stakeholders on pension-related initiatives.
- Stay current on federal regulations and industry best practices in pension plan administration.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in pension plan administration, employee benefits, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ERISA and other federal pension regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
