Responsibilities
- Analyze federal pension plans for compliance with ERISA and other regulations
- Investigate participant complaints and plan violations
- Review and approve plan amendments and termination filings
- Provide technical guidance to federal agencies and plan sponsors
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for legal counsel
- Coordinate with regional offices on enforcement actions
- Train federal employees on pension compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, TSP, and federal pension regulations
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Proficiency with pension administration software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Federal security clearance eligibility required
