Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS with meticulous attention to detail
- Advise federal employees on retirement benefits, contribution limits, and distribution options
- Conduct compliance audits and ensure adherence to federal pension regulations
- Develop and implement pension policy improvements based on legislative changes
- Analyze pension fund performance and prepare comprehensive financial reports
- Collaborate with HR teams to resolve complex pension-related inquiries
- Train federal employees on retirement planning tools and resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pension administration or federal benefits
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, FERS, CSRS, and TSP regulations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL)
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
