Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans ensuring strict adherence to 5 CFR Part 838
- Conduct compliance audits and benefit calculations for 10,000+ participants
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on policy implementation
- Develop educational materials for federal retirees and employees
- Manage fiduciary responsibilities under ERISA guidelines
- Lead system upgrades for pension administration software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 5+ years pension plan administration experience
- Federal benefits certification (e.g., FEBP) required
- Expert knowledge of TSP and FERS regulations
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation expertise
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain
- Proficiency in FedPension and HR Connect systems
