Responsibilities
- Manage complex federal pension plan administration for 10,000+ participants
- Ensure strict compliance with OPM, DOL, and IRS regulations
- Process retiree benefit calculations and distributions
- Conduct annual plan audits and reporting
- Develop educational materials for federal employees
- Collaborate with OPM and agency HR departments
- Implement FISMA-compliant data security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, or related field
- 5+ years pension administration experience
- Federal employee benefits certification (CEBS or CFP preferred)
- Expert knowledge of federal retirement systems (FERS, CSRS)
- Advanced Excel and benefits software proficiency
- Active security clearance eligibility
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
