- Develop retirement policy recommendations for federal legislative review
- Manage complex pension benefit calculations and dispute resolutions
- Collaborate with legal teams on pension litigation and enforcement actions
- Provide technical guidance to employers and plan administrators
- Monitor pension plan solvency and funding adequacy metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or benefits compliance experience
- ERISA and DOL pension regulations expertise
- Strong analytical skills with pension valuation methodologies
- Professional certification (CEBS, ASPA, or QKA) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Experience with federal payroll systems (e.g., NFC, DFAS)
- Proficient in pension software (e.g., Millennium, Alight)
