Responsibilities
- Process federal pension applications and distribution requests with 99.8% accuracy
- Advise federal employees on TSP withdrawal options and survivor benefit elections
- Coordinate with OPM and agency HR departments for pension verification
- Maintain secure digital records of pension transactions in FedScope
- Conduct annual pension plan eligibility reviews for federal annuitants
- Develop customized retirement income projections using federal calculators
- Train federal staff on pension plan updates and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience with federal retirement systems (FERS, CSRS)
- Active Federal Personnel Security Investigation (FIPS) clearance
- Proficient in OPM pension software and FedScope database
- Series 7 or Series 63 securities license required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- Experience with TSP withdrawal processing and survivor benefit forms
- Strong analytical skills for complex pension calculations
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance within 30 days
