Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of federal employee pension applications and retirement eligibility requests.
- Analyze financial data and employment records to calculate accurate pension estimates and benefits.
- Provide exceptional customer service to federal employees via phone, email, and in-person consultations regarding pension inquiries.
- Ensure strict adherence to all federal regulations, compliance standards, and agency protocols.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, confidential documentation related to retirement processing.
- Collaborate with HR departments and federal oversight agencies to resolve complex pension discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a valid government security clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal administration, financial services, or human resources.
- Strong understanding of federal pension systems, FERS, or CSRS is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work part-time (20-30 hours per week) with a reliable schedule.
