Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans ensuring compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations
- Conduct complex benefit calculations and retirement eligibility assessments
- Develop and implement strategic pension plan optimization strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on retirement policy initiatives
- Manage participant communications and retirement counseling services
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for pension portfolios
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or benefits management experience
- Deep knowledge of federal pension regulations (TSP, FERS, CSRS)
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Workday, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Series 7 and/or Series 63 securities licenses (highly desirable)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
