Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension applications for federal employees and veterans
- Maintain accurate pension plan documentation and databasesEnsure compliance with federal pension regulations (ERISA, TSP)
- Respond to inquiries regarding pension benefits and eligibility
- Prepare quarterly pension reports for agency review
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments on pension-related matters
- Assist in annual pension plan audits and compliance checks
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in pension administration or benefits
- Proficiency with federal pension regulations (FERS, CSRS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
