Responsibilities
- Process and review federal pension claims and retirement applications with a high degree of accuracy.
- Analyze retirement data to ensure compliance with FERS and GS pay scale regulations.
- Assist federal employees with Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) inquiries and account updates.
- Conduct nightly audits of pension records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Communicate complex pension information to retirees and agency staff via phone and email.
- Collaborate with the Payroll and HR teams to ensure seamless data integration.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, human resources, or financial services.
- Experience with federal government systems and regulations (FERS, CSRS) is highly preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and holidays as required.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal data processing software.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
