Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension applications and retirement requests for federal personnel with precision and efficiency.
- Respond to high-volume inquiries regarding pension plans, FERS, and CSRS via phone and email during the night shift.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations and internal compliance protocols for all financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee pension data and documentation.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to resolve complex pension discrepancies and escalations.
- Conduct routine audits of pension records to identify errors and prevent financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources preferred.
- Previous experience working with federal pension plans or government retirement systems (FERS/CSRS) is highly desired.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills for data entry and verification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with federal employees.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and pension administration software.
