Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans (CSRS/FERS) with 100% regulatory compliance
- Process retirement claims and benefit adjustments within strict SLAs
- Conduct eligibility reviews and pension calculations for federal employees
- Respond to complex pension inquiries from retirees and agencies
- Perform quarterly audits of pension accounts and data integrity checks
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on policy implementation
- Generate compliance reports for congressional oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 3+ years pension administration experience with federal systems
- Expert knowledge of CSRS/FERS regulations and TSP guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in federal HRIS systems (e.g., HRConnect)
- Professional designation (CEBS, QKA, or SPHR) preferred
- Ability to work independently on weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Top Secret security clearance eligibility required
