Responsibilities
- Research and analyze federal policies affecting North Carolina's security infrastructure
- Coordinate with state/local agencies to implement federal directives
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for congressional stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional projects with FEMA, DOJ, and local emergency services
- Conduct threat assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Testify before state legislative committees on federal compliance
- Maintain secure documentation of sensitive intelligence data
Qualifications
- US citizenship with active federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 3+ years federal/state/local government experience
- Expert knowledge of CFR Title 44 (Homeland Security)
- Advanced proficiency in GIS mapping and threat modeling software
- Proven track record of intergovernmental collaboration
- TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Ability to work under urgent deadlines with minimal supervision
