Responsibilities
- Analyze economic trends and draft policy recommendations for federal financial regulations
- Coordinate with state/local agencies to implement Treasury initiatives across Tennessee
- Prepare detailed reports on fiscal impact assessments for congressional briefings
- Manage compliance reviews for federally funded programs in the Southeast region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline federal grant processes
- Represent Treasury at intergovernmental conferences and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or regulated industries
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and federal reporting systems
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Deep understanding of federal budget processes and grant management regulations
- Exceptional written communication skills for policy documents and presentations
- Knowledge of Tennessee state-federal compliance frameworks
