Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate state policies, legislation, and regulations to assess impacts on communities
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging policy trends and best practices
- Develop detailed policy briefs, reports, and recommendations for decision-makers
- Collaborate with state agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness and recommend adjustments

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis or research experience
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, R, or similar)
- Deep understanding of Michigan state government operations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
