Responsibilities
- Analyze federal programs to ensure compliance with regulations and optimize performance metrics
- Develop detailed program reports for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives and manage interdepartmental communications
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategic improvements to program efficiency
- Oversee budget allocation and financial tracking for assigned programs
- Represent the agency in intergovernmental meetings and external partnerships
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to organizational knowledge management
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Policy Analysis, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal program management experience
- Expertise in federal budget processes (OMB Circulars, GPRA)
- Proficient with data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare executive-level briefing materials
- Strong knowledge of homeland security priorities and federal regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
