Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming/outgoing mail with precision and speed
- Deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses across Albuquerque
- Operate mail processing machinery and maintain equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and on delivery routes
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery time standards
- Complete required documentation and route reports accurately
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces in post offices and vehicles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
