Responsibilities
- Policy Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of federal labor laws, regulations, and economic trends to support the development of effective policy recommendations.
- Program Management: Oversee the lifecycle of federal grant programs, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for federal partners, state agencies, and community organizations, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
- Reporting: Prepare complex statistical reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and congressional oversight committees.
- Compliance: Monitor program performance metrics and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local compliance standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency and implement process improvements within the program administration unit.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in federal, state, or local government program analysis, policy research, or public administration.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Secret security clearance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Tableau) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations and grant management processes.
