Responsibilities
- Develop and execute federal program strategies aligning with DHS objectives and Miami's regional priorities
- Manage cross-agency partnerships with state/local governments to optimize resource allocation
- Oversee program budgets exceeding $5M with rigorous compliance audits
- Lead crisis response initiatives during natural disasters or security threats
- Prepare comprehensive reports for congressional briefings and OMB reviews
- Mentor junior staff on federal acquisition protocols and performance metrics
- Coordinate with FEMA, CBP, and other federal entities on joint operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- 5+ years federal program management experience with GS-12+ equivalent
- Expertise in federal procurement, grants management (CFDA), and OMB guidelines
- Proven track record of interagency coordination in complex environments
- Advanced degree in Public Administration, Homeland Security, or related field
- Proficiency in Gantt chart software and federal reporting systems (e.g., MAX)
- Spanish language fluency highly preferred for Miami operations
