Responsibilities
- Develop and manage federal grant programs supporting emergency preparedness initiatives
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend regulatory adjustments for Arizona-specific contexts
- Coordinate interagency partnerships to optimize resource allocation during crisis response
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for OMB and congressional oversight committees
- Lead stakeholder engagement with local government entities and community organizations
- Monitor program performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Train personnel on federal compliance protocols and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expertise in FEMA grant administration and OMB compliance standards
- Proficiency with federal budgeting systems and financial reporting tools
- Demonstrated experience with interagency coordination protocols
- Professional certification in Emergency Management (CEM) preferred
- Fluency in Spanish highly desirable for community outreach
