Responsibilities
- Develop and manage federal grant programs ensuring compliance with OMB and agency regulations
- Analyze public health data to inform policy recommendations for congressional briefings
- Coordinate interagency partnerships with state health departments and FEMA
- Oversee budget execution for multi-million dollar public health initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging health threats in federal facilities
- Prepare comprehensive reports for the Office of the Secretary
- Mentor junior staff on federal procurement protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal grant management (OMB Circular A-21)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency in CDC's grants management system (GMS)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, and federal procurement laws
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization
- Ability to obtain a Tier 3 background investigation
