Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate federal veteran benefit programs across North Florida counties
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend regulatory adjustments for veteran healthcare access
- Collaborate with state/local agencies on veteran homelessness prevention initiatives
- Manage grant funding allocations for veteran service organizations
- Conduct compliance audits for VA facility operations in Florida
- Prepare congressional briefings on veteran program outcomes
- Mentor junior staff on federal regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Active VA or federal security clearance
- Expertise in veterans' benefits regulations (38 CFR)
- Advanced data analysis skills with VA databases
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems
- Knowledge of Florida veteran service networks
