Responsibilities
- Manage and administer veteran benefit programs ensuring full compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze program performance data and prepare comprehensive reports for leadership
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiency
- Coordinate with state and local agencies to align program objectives
- Conduct training sessions for staff on federal compliance requirements
- Respond to inquiries from stakeholders including veterans, congressional offices, and community partners
- Monitor budget allocations and ensure fiscal responsibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of federal program management experience
- Expert knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR) and grant management
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI)
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Experience with veterans' affairs programs highly desirable
