Responsibilities
- Develop and implement veteran benefit programs ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze complex policy data to recommend operational improvements
- Coordinate interagency partnerships for veteran service delivery
- Manage stakeholder communications including veteran advocacy groups
- Conduct program evaluations and compliance audits
- Train staff on veteran benefit systems and procedures
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Proficiency with federal grant management systems (e.g., MAX)
- VA-specific knowledge of 38 CFR regulations
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Active security clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with veteran-focused service organizations
