Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives aligned with VA objectives
- Analyze program performance data and prepare comprehensive reports for leadership
- Coordinate cross-agency collaborations to streamline veteran services
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct stakeholder outreach and maintain relationships with veteran organizations
- Monitor budget allocations and ensure fiscal accountability
- Train staff on federal program protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal program management experience
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., eRA Commons)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with federal compliance requirements (FAR, DFARS)
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
