Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex urban policy issues including housing, transportation, and economic development
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for City Council and mayoral initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to implement strategic priorities
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for public officials
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for municipal programs
- Engage with community stakeholders and advocacy groups
- Manage grant funding applications and reporting processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of Massachusetts state/federal regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously
- Active security clearance preferred
