Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives aligned with VA mission objectives
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend strategic improvements for veteran services
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships to streamline service delivery
- Manage grant funding allocations and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional stakeholders and senior leadership
- Mentor junior staff on federal compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Expertise in OMB Circular A-122 and federal procurement standards
- Proven track record in veteran service program oversight
- Advanced proficiency in federal grant management systems
- Certified Federal Manager (CFM) preferred
