Responsibilities
- Manage pension enrollment, disbursement, and compliance for veteran beneficiaries
- Conduct eligibility reviews and benefit calculations under FERS regulations
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve complex pension appeals and disputes
- Develop and implement process improvements for pension administration efficiency
- Prepare comprehensive reports on pension program performance and trends
- Train stakeholders on pension policies and procedural updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years experience in pension/benefits administration or federal compliance
- Proficiency with federal systems (e.g., HRIS, PEOPLink)
- Deep knowledge of FERS, TSP, and federal retirement regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and empathy
