Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program strategies to enhance veteran services delivery
- Analyze complex regulations and policy frameworks to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to optimize program performance metrics
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight and executive leadership
- Manage stakeholder communications with veterans, agencies, and congressional offices
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Mentor junior staff on federal compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expert knowledge of FAR/FTR regulations and federal procurement processes
- Advanced proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., MAX.gov)
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with VA-specific programs highly desirable
