Responsibilities
- Oversee federal veteran benefit programs ensuring compliance with OMB and VA regulations
- Analyze program metrics to identify optimization opportunities and report findings to leadership
- Coordinate with state agencies and community partners to enhance service delivery
- Develop training materials for staff on policy updates and procedural changes
- Manage program budgets and expenditures with zero tolerance for fiscal errors
- Represent the VA in stakeholder meetings and congressional briefings
- Lead cross-functional teams during emergency response initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Expertise in federal grant management and compliance reporting
- Proficiency with GSA MAX and SAM.gov procurement systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with data visualization experience
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background checks
