Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure of federal contracts.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, agency guidelines, and company policies.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including government officials, clients, and team members.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports and status updates to senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific acquisition policies.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if applicable).
