Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage federal grant projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, assign resources, and monitor progress using PM methodologies.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports to senior leadership and federal oversight bodies.
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations, VA policies, and agency procedures.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Mentor junior staff members and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident eligible for security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal project management or a related administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations, procurement processes, and grant management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft technical reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint).
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel for site visits if required.
