Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 surveillance and patrols of federal maritime facilities using advanced monitoring systems
- Screen vehicles, cargo, and personnel for security threats in compliance with federal regulations
- Respond to emergency incidents and security breaches with rapid tactical coordination
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation using federal databases
- Collaborate with CBP, TSA, and Coast Guard agencies during joint operations
- Enforce federal laws including immigration, customs, and trade regulations
- Operate specialized security equipment including X-ray scanners and biometric devices
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years law enforcement or military security experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in emergency response protocols and crisis management
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Pass comprehensive background check and physical fitness assessment
- Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of federal maritime security regulations (CFR Title 33)
