Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to federal facilities to ensure only authorized personnel enter.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security vulnerabilities or hazards.
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies in accordance with established security protocols.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs for federal auditing purposes.
- Verify identification and credentials of visitors and employees in compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness during all shifts.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship: Required for federal employment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Clearance: Must be eligible for a Federal Background Investigation (Secret/Top Secret).
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
