Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols and access control at federal facilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts in real-time
- Screen personnel and packages using X-ray and metal detection equipment
- Enforce federal security regulations with professional authority
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain security logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Washington State Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security technology systems
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and respond to emergencies
