Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional calm and accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources during critical incidents
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and multi-channel radio equipment
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
- Provide critical information to field units via radio and computer
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 50 WPM typing certification
- Ability to pass background investigation and polygraph
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to perform under extreme pressure with composure
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS, data entry)
- No felony convictions and clean driving record
- Must be US citizen or authorized to work
