Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced passenger/baggage screenings using X-ray technology and manual inspection protocols
- Monitor surveillance systems and analyze suspicious activities per DHS threat matrices
- Enforce federal security regulations and respond to emergency incidents per SOPs
- Collaborate with local law enforcement during joint security operations
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Train junior staff on security procedures and threat detection
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and security audits
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience
- Proficiency in security screening equipment (X-ray, ETD, WTMD)
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and work in standing positions for extended periods
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Successful completion of background investigation and polygraph
- Basic knowledge of federal aviation security regulations (49 CFR)
