Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct security patrols of federal facilities during night shift hours
- Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergency incidents with immediate tactical action
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incident response protocols
- Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports using federal documentation systems
- Conduct access control screenings for personnel and visitors during overnight operations
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners and CCTV networks
- Participate in quarterly security drills and emergency preparedness exercises
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in law enforcement, military, or federal security roles
- Valid New York State Security Guard License (NYSG-4000)
- Proficiency in security software systems (e.g., Genetec, Lenel)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of hire
- Fluency in English with strong written communication skills
- Must pass federal background investigation and polygraph examination
