Our Charlotte facility operates 24/7, and this position requires overnight availability (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM). You'll work alongside highly trained professionals in a mission-critical environment with state-of-the-art security technology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patrols and surveillance of federal properties
- Operate advanced security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring
- Enforce federal security protocols and respond to emergency incidents
- Screen personnel and vehicles using TSA-standard procedures
- Prepare detailed security incident reports and documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security directives (FIPS 199, NISPOM)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid NC Security Guard License (SLED certified)
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to obtain DHS suitability clearance
- Strong physical stamina for overnight shifts and standing/walking
- Exceptional situational judgment and de-escalation skills
- High school diploma; associate's degree preferred
